A: Cyber security focuses on protecting computers, networks, programs from unintended and unauthorized access, change and destruction. Cyber activity is also referred to as the information technology security.

A: Governments, military organizations, companies, financial institutions, hospitals and other institutions collect , process and store a great deal of confidential information on computers. With the growing volume and sophistication of cyber attacks, ongoing attention is required to protect sensitive business and personal information, as well as safeguard national security.
Q: Who is responsible for cyber security?
A: Everyone is responsible for cyber security. If you are one of the followings in any information systems, then you are responsible for security: information owner, information user, information systems manager. As the enumeration engages general public ,everybody is responsible for cyber security provision.

A: Most of the security failures is the result of user errors. Unintended and deliberate errors lead to information loss. Perhaps, you may test port scanner softwares, cracked softwares and thus, you will have created security vulnerability unknowingly. Therefore, it is necessary the users to have knowledge on security.
